Our approved community partners are organizations approved by Girl Scouts San Diego to offer events, opportunities, and services based on the Girl Scout Leadership Experience.
Community Partners
Community partners are organizations whose activities and values align with the Girl Scout mission, and include:
Badge/Patch Workshops
Programs to help Girl Scout girls/troops work toward a wide variety of Girl Scout-specific recognitions and experiences focused around the Girl Scout Leadership Experience and its outcomes.
Girl Scout Day
Co-hosted programs using a combination of community partner and Girl Scouts San Diego resources to create a workshop, special event, or enhanced curriculum.
Day and Sleepaway Camp
Camps ranging from a one-hour workshop to a multi-day engagement hosted either by the community partner at their site or at a Girl Scout facility with interactive programming and, often, the opportunity to earn a badge.
Internships and Job Shadowing
Opportunities for high school students ranging from a one-day job shadowing to a weeks-long internship.
Outreach Programs
On-site, after-school programs to engage girls in activities relating to specific topics; can be a one-time program or occur over a period of weeks/months.
Program Series
Programs to help girls explore a particular topic over a four- to eight-week period.
Community Service Opportunities
Age-specific volunteer opportunities for Girl Scout members.
Free/Discount Tickets
Special offers available to Girl Scouts for performances and exhibits.
